Technical overview

Any technology that can consume a Web Service can easily access a resource defined to the SOA Gateway with absolutely no client coding whatsoever.

XML-SPY, PHP, Ruby on rails, InfoPath and Perl are examples of software that can easily consume a Web Service.

For JAVA, the SOA Gateway Eclipse utility will generate JAVA helper classes to enable the JAVA programmer to simply access the resource.

In the .NET world, there are utilities to generate .NET specific classes so that a resource can be accessed from any language that runs in the .NET framework.

All modern technologies will have an ability to consume Web Services and can thus access any resource exposed by the SOA Gateway 'out of the box'.
