TransactionalityRisaris SOA Gateway enables a number of resources on a platform to be updated within the context of the same transaction. The SOA Gateway ensures that updates that occur from the invocation of business logic or the updating of one or more databases retains the ACID transaction properties (atomicity, consistency, independence and durability) by interfacing with the local transaction manager to manage the transaction. For example, on z/OS the SOA Gateway interfaces with RRMS, whereas
on Open Systems platforms, the Gateway can interface with Tuxedo.
