Reliability

The SOA Gateway is primarily built around existing technologies, including Apache, Apache SSL and XERCES.

This is well proven code in the web servicing world and, hence, is as bug free as one can possibly get. In addition, unlike other Web Services, the SOA Gateway services the requests directly with no requirement for middleware in between. This means that there are fewer points of failure and this leads to a more reliable Web Services structure.
