The Risaris SOA Gateway has been designed to perform at OnLine Transaction Processing (OLTP) levels that existing legacy platforms deliver consistently today.

It manages this by using the Apache Web Server, which is the most successful web server in the world, as its base run time environment. Apache has proven itself to be capable of dealing with large numbers of requests per second, which is what is expected of an OLTP ready system.

In addition, the SOA Gateway runs local to the data and business logic it exposes, and makes it available directly using TCP/IP without any additional middleware requirement.
